Welcome to our version of the African cord necklace. This 26″ fabric statement necklace, the Maisha, uses only wax print fabric and upcycled jersey to create a necklace that is safe for your baby and toddler to pull and chew on while you’re wearing it. When this bib necklace gets dirty, it can be thrown in the wash!
“Maisha” means “life” in Swahili. This colorful necklace is a celebration of life for our Refugee artisans who have found freedom here in the US.
